Hey Mr DJ

J and I are definitely looking forward to having a giant dance party at our reception. It's a bit of an understatement to say that J and I have eclectic music tastes. On our ipods you'll find Nine Inch Nails, Celine Dion, Al Green, Toby Keith, Maroon 5, Easy E, Coldplay, Matthew Good Band and James Blunt. We needed a great DJ to seamlessly combine all these different styles, handle song requests and minimize the Chicken Dance/Macarena cheese factor.

So where do you find a DJ? I'd suggest asking your recently married friends and family, reading local bridal magazines for vendor listings and checking out local vendor reviews on Wedding Wire or Yelp. Don't forget to ask your venue coordinator too!

We didn't find our DJ with any of those methods. J struck up a conversation with another groom at our laundromat who works as an on-air personality at a local radio station. He booked Anything Audio for their wedding and a recommendation from a professional DJ was good enough for us!

Anything Audio offers two wedding packages that provide you with 7 or 12 hours of DJ services and entertainment. We chose the 7 hour option that includes a 1500 watt sound system, wireless microphone, commercial video projector, two mirror balls and a multicolour lighting effect. They provide clients with a super convenient online planning system to select songs from their music library (including a do not play list), plan which events you want at the reception and create a detailed timeline.
