It's Time for Invitations

Invitations and stationery are the one part of planning this wedding that freak me out. It's intimidating to sift through the hundreds of invitation stores and websites and I can't imagine spending the time to design my own. I'm running out of creative steam at this point and thinking about belly bands, envelope liners and vector images makes me sleepy. It seems overwhelming to decide on a printing method, fonts, enclosure cards, paper finishes, ink colours and the perfect wording. Enter Bridesmaid K for some practical support and motivation!
I've had this invitation suite in the back of my mind for a few months now. Download and Print offers collections that are fully customizable and even has video tutorials and clear specifications to help you with design and printing.

Printable Press is slightly less DIY than Download and Print. After you choose a collection and submit your wording, they customize your template and send you a PDF that you can print yourself or take to any printer. Printable Press charges for the PDF, so the cost is the same whether you need 50 or 500. Up to 3 colours and custom text are included in the price but there are additional costs to change fonts or card dimensions. Their Into the Woods collection has some great possibilities for our woodland theme.

Don't forget Vistaprint when considering stationery. They are reasonbly priced, create professional products and have 290 invitation templates to choose from or you can upload your own design. Each design has coordinating products that include envelope seals, RSVP cards, menu cards, place cards, save the date cards, thank you cards, invitation enclosures, envelopes, labels, t-shirts and tote bags. Talk about one-stop shopping!
