Along with confirming all of our vendors and setting up the venue, our day-of-coordinator prepared a detailed timeline for the wedding day. She shared the schedule with our MC and vendors, and I converted it into a Google Doc to share with our bridal party that had a separate sheet for contact info and each day in our wedding weekend.
Our schedule may be of use to you if you're planning an afternoon ceremony with time before the reception for photos. It included the time, location and a contact person for each event.

The day went like clockwork and we were right on time for everything. The ceremony finished early and family phots were done very efficiently so we gained an extra 30 minutes for wedding party photos before the reception!
I suggest you also conduct a taste-test. It's one of the yummiest parts of your wedding preparations, plus you're making your guests are getting only the best. Your groom-to-be's going to love this too!
